Livestock

Livestock refers to one or more domesticated animals, which are raised for agriculture propose, these are used to produce commodities such as food, fiber, labor etc. But now days, this has become a highly profitable business. In India keeping an animal for milk, milk product, meat, wool, skin, etc is a tradition which we have followed since ages. In fact, keeping a livestock is seen worldwide.

Raising animals or animal husbandry is an important part of agriculture. It has been practiced in many cultures since the transition to farming. Domestication of animals for profits is very popular across the world in countries like USA, Europe, Australia, Asia, etc. Animals such as Bison, Camel, Cattle, Deer, Dog, Got, Guinea Pig, Horse, Llama, Mule, Pig, Rabbit, Reindeer, Sheep, Domesticated Asian Water Buffalo, and are most common animals seen for livestock. These animals are mainly domesticated for meat, milk products, skin, leather, antlers, searching, watching/ guarding, mount, and labor etc.
